The wreckage of the Locals sends 825 gallons of an unknown toxin seeping into the earth.

In the nearby town of Gramby a half-dead moose shudders through a pond. Its skin flakes off in chunks and floats away with the oil-slick current of the dirty water.

Two field researchers in Gramby, Annie and Colin, witness it first-hand. 

The mutated, dying wildlife. The strange plant life beginning to sprout and choke Gramby. The people, hobbling and sick in the streets. Their eyes slowly clouding from the mutagen.

Annie joins them soon after.

Her transformation sends Colin down a delusional path. 15 years after The Outbreak, Colin finally achieves the impossible.

He can save Annie.
